2021 Membership Information
A membership will be required for each member of your household wishing to visit the pool this summer.

Ardmore Avenue and Belmont Hills Memberships are sold separately.

Membership Fees are as follows:
Individual (Ages 2-59)   $5/Member
Child (Under 2)             Free
Senior (Ages 60+)         Varies by Pool
$6/Member Ardmore Ave
$20/Member Belmont Hills
Nanny (Ages 18+)         $10/Member

Memberships will only be available to Lower Merion Township Residents.

New members will be required to provide Proof of Residency for all individuals on the membership.

Guests will not be permitted.

Membership fees will not be refunded once the pool opens.

Planning your Pool Visit
Members will be required to pre-register for an open date/time and pay the appropriate gate fees for each visitor in order to enter the pool.

Registration will be limited to four (4) time slots per week per person.

Registration will open every Thursday at 7:00am
On May 27, registration for May 29, 30, 31, June 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, and 20 will open.
On June 17, registration for June 21 through 27 will open.
On June 24, registration for June 28 through July 4 will open.

Members that are not registered will not be permitted to enter the facility.

You must have a membership to the desired pool in order to register for a pool visit. If you wish to visit the Belmont Hills Pool, you must have a Belmont Hills membership. Belmont Hills members will not be able to register for open dates/times at Ardmore Pool. Residents are able to purchase memberships for both pools.

Registration will be conducted in weekly blocks that run Monday through Sunday, with exceptions to the beginning and end of season.

Child and Senior Members will not be charged a gate fee, however they will be required to pre-register for their desired date/time.

In order to adhere to physical distancing requirements, the number of visitors will be limited within each time slot, therefore we cannot guarantee registration will be available for all members.

Time slots are 2.5 hours in length. Pools will be cleared 15 minutes before the end of each time slot and the facility will be cleared to allow 30 minutes for staff to sanitize all areas of the facility.

Available Time Slots:
Morning 9:00 – 11:30am
Mid-Day Noon – 2:30pm
Afternoon 3:00 – 5:30pm
Evening 6:00 – 8:30pm

Refunds/Credits will not be issued for cancellations or inclement weather, however, cancelling will allow someone else utilize the pool.

Cancellations can be made to the Parks and Recreation office via phone (610.645.6220) or email (recreation@lowermerion.org) during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:15am – 4:30pm). Cancellations outside of normal business hours can be made by calling the pool.

Once a cancellation has been processed, the space becomes available to the public immediately.

Our office will be monitoring attendance of those that are registered and reserve the right to suspend memberships of those that habitually do not utilize their reservations.

Planning Ahead
Account Credit will be available to purchase in order to help members avoid separate “convenience fees” when paying for multiple gate fees throughout the season

Credit card convenience fees are $2.45 per transaction up to $100 or 2.45% of the total amount of transactions over $100. Checking Account/ACH payments charge a flat rate of $1.50.

There is a $50 Dishonored Debit Fee (Check or Electronic) for all returned payments.

The amount purchased for account credit will need to be manually entered as a credit on an account, which can be used at any time throughout the season.

Members will need to plan ahead as these purchases will require action by the Parks and Recreation Office to covert the purchase to a credit on your account. This conversion can only take place during normal office hours, Monday through Friday, 8:15am – 4:30pm (No nights or weekends).

Members without internet access may call the Parks and Recreation Office during normal office hours to register for time slots and send payment via USPS. We cannot make any guarantees on availability as this will prolong the process. We cannot take payment information over the phone.

Pool Information
Mask are required when moving throughout the facility.

Masks are not required while swimming in the pool.

Physical distancing will be required for both adults and children. Please be sure to maintain at least a six (6) foot distance between you and anyone not in your household.

Designated Lap Lanes will be available for lap swimmers (of all ages) only during each time slot.

Lap lanes will be limited to three (3) swimmers per lane.

“I” pool at Belmont “open swim area” will be for Adults only.

Morning Lap Swim, Tot Pool Hours and Swim Lessons are cancelled for the 2021 season.

Birthday Parties will not be permitted this season.

The Family Fun Night and the Cardboard Boat Regatta have been cancelled.

The Parks and Recreation Department will continue to monitor the ever-changing requirements for operating various aspects of the pools during this pandemic and implement changes as needed.
